Join us for an accessible all-ages event hosted in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association’s Spark of Brilliance. Visitors will enter the garden and be given a passport card with a list of fairies: the Pollinator, Underground, Wildlife, Bird, Water, Plant, Climate, Tree, and Sun Fairy will all be hiding in the garden.

Visitors will search the garden and as they find the sculpture or painting of a fairy they will be met with someone who can share that fairy’s secrets: how the fairy cares for that aspect of the garden, and how humans can do the same. There will be hands-on activities at each station as well.

The visitor will get a stamp on their passport from the fairy’s helper and move on to find the next fairy. Volunteers will be circulating the garden to assist visitors, a fully-stamped passport will gain the visitor entry into our craft area/makerspace, where an Art Therapist and volunteers will guide them through making a keepsake to take home from the visit.
