We’re looking for individuals who have some experience in one or more of the following: accessibility, horticulture therapy, fundraising, communications, finance, nonprofit governance.

Time commitment: monthly meetings, occasional volunteer appreciation events (optional, but encouraged), minimum commitment of at least one full year.

The Board of Directors works by collaborative-structure to organize the larger issues of the garden. We meet monthly to discuss such topics as:

  • budget planning
  • policy initiatives
  • fundraising goals
  • assessing current and future needs within the garden
  • expansion planning
  • event planning (such as socials, volunteer appreciation, plant sales, etc.)
  • networking and outreach

People of all abilities, ages, and identities are welcome and encouraged to apply!
